Quick Review: Large burgers with large taste define The Thurman Cafe.

Review: Large burgers with large taste define The Thurman Cafe.  Located in the German village district of Columbus, the cafe is an informal place to get a bite.

The massive 3/4 lb burgers are some of the largest in the area. Despite the size they go down easy.  They are juicy and well-cooked. Served with chips, or tasty fries, and a pickle spear that looks tiny compared to the meaty goodness. With over 19 different choices a burger is a good bet.

Everyone can find something from the small salad, chicken sandwiches, pizzas to even the hungriest appetite filling Thurman-ator, “Bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, hot pepper, 12 ounce burger, bacon, cheddar, another 12 oz burger, sautéed onion, mushroom, , ham, American and provolone cheese, top bun.” Don’t go unless however unless your ready to eat.

#35 of 101 tastiest places to eat (#3 hamburger joint), and a Man vs Food stop, The Thurman cafe is a well know eatery. Don’t miss it if you like burgers. The atmosphere is informal and the staff very friendly. Finding a table is a wait at times, but just sign up and play a game of pinball. The food is worth it.
